ABOUT THE CONTEST

eSpellBee competitions are organized in Seasons.

Eligibility : 6 yrs to 15 yrs - Grade 1 to Grade 10

Audition Round

The Audition Round is the entry-level stage of the Everest International Spelling Bee. It features fun and challenging puzzles like crosswords, word searches, and riddles that boost vocabulary, logical thinking, and language familiarity in a playful, grade-appropriate format.

Performance Round

The Performance Round evaluates a student’s listening and spelling skills through a focused dictation activity. This round sharpens auditory attention, reinforces correct spelling patterns, and builds written accuracy—helping participants prepare for more advanced language challenges in the rounds that follow.

Grammar Skills Round

The English Grammar Skills Round tests students on five essential grammar concepts tailored to their grade. It builds a strong foundation in sentence structure, tenses, clauses, and agreement through engaging, level-appropriate questions that promote accuracy, understanding, and confident language usage.

Spelling Bee Grand Finale

The Spelling Bee Grand Finale Contest is the final and most prestigious round. It challenges students with phonetics-based spelling and unlimited oral word recall, enhancing pronunciation, fluency, and stage confidence in a competitive yet supportive environment.
